Dimmable interior lighting comes standard on every high-glass model, and it runs with the flame or without it—so the fireplace still glows on a summer evening. Because the design keeps the surface above the unit cool, a TV or artwork can hang right above the fire . And the frameless European edge means your finish material—tile, stone, plaster—runs right to the glass, with no louvers and no trim ring announcing an appliance. Possible downsides It won’t run during a power outage —the interior lighting (and the double glass version) operates on household power. It builds into a framed wall , so every installation ends with finish work; it does not slide into an existing fireplace. The black reflective interior is an upgrade , not standard.
