The design is frameless, so your tile or stone runs right to the edge of the fire and it reads as part of the wall, not an appliance set into it . The wall above stays cool. Ortal’s Passive Cool Wall Technology means you can hang a TV or artwork directly above the fire —no mantel between them, no compromise on where the screen goes. Living with it is push-button simple. Possible downsides The built-in lighting requires the AC adapter , so the fireplace won’t operate during a power failure.
