It builds into a framed wall during construction or a remodel, and Ortal’s frameless European design lets your tile or stone run right to the edge of the glass—the fire reads as part of the wall, not an appliance set into it. Ortal’s passive cool wall technology keeps the wall above the unit cool enough that you can hang a TV or artwork directly above the fire . This is the high-glass version, with a fire nearly two feet tall, and it comes with dimmable interior lighting included —so the logs glow on a summer evening even when the flame is off.
