Ortal’s clean European design lets your tile or stone run right to the edge of the glass, so the unit looks built into the wall, not hung on it— what you see in the room is fire and finish, nothing else . It builds into a framed wall, so the finish work is part of the installation and our team plans it with you. The wall above stays cool enough to hang a TV or artwork right above the fireplace , so the corner can carry the whole room’s design. Interior lighting comes standard on this high-glass model, and the lights run with or without the flame— the logs glow on a July evening the same way they do in January . Possible downsides Needs household power to run —the lighting and double-glass features operate on an AC adapter, so the fireplace will not run during a power outage.
