Choose a standard single-face unit instead and the fire disappears the moment you step around the corner. Ortal’s frameless European design lets your finishing materials run to the very edge of the fireplace, so the fire reads as part of the wall, not a box set into it . The wall above stays cool enough that you can hang a TV or artwork directly over the fire . And because this is a high-glass model, internal lighting comes standard—dim it from the remote, or run the light with no flame at all, so the logs stay part of the room on an evening too warm for a fire. The remote does more than raise and lower the flame: set a temperature and the fireplace holds the room there on its own , cycling the flame as needed, with program and eco modes when you want it running on a schedule.
